The following changes have been made to the CGMA Manual, published July 2010, and are effective on the date indicated.
Revised pages are available to download.
Check your List of Effective Pages to ensure your manual is up-to-date.
Change 6 January 2012
The following changes have been made to the CGMA Manual.
- Eligibility for a CGMA Adoption loan has been expanded to include all CGMA Clients and is no loger tied to the Coast Guard Reimbursement of Adoption Expenses Program. (pages 3-26 - 3-27)
- The list of CGMA Locations has been updated (page D-1 - D-2)

Change 5 November 2011
The following changes have been made to the CGMA Manual.
- The CGMA Layette Program eligibility has been expanded to include all CGMA Clients and the requirement for proof of birth or adoption has been elimated (pages 3-66 - 3-69). CGMA Form 7 has been updated to include these changes
- The list of CGMA Locations has been updated (page D-1 - D-3)

Change 4 October 2011
The following changes have been made to the CGMA Manual.
- Cooperation with Other Military Aid Socities section has been changed: The amount of loan allowed to avoid immediate privation has been changed to $200 and a loan of up to $600 for travel and basic living expenses when an evacuation order has been issued has been added (page 4-24)
- The list of CGMA Locations has been updated (page D-1 - D-3)
- Minor corrections were made on pages 4-8 & 3-71
- Additional pages are included as needed to fix page numbers, formatting issues and as Supporting Documents

Change 3 July 2011
The following changes have been made to the CGMA Manual.
- The Housing Assistance Program has been revised and expanded. Purchase Assistance has been replaced with Closing Cost Assistance which is intended to help Coast Guard personnel, who would otherwise be unable to purchase a home, who wish to sell their house due to poor market conditions, or who wish to refinance a mortgage on their home to obtain lower interest rates or lower monthly payments, by providing a loan to help pay for settlement charges (not down payment) associated with purchasing or selling a primary residence, selling a former primary residence, or refinancing a residence which is either their current or former primary residence. (pages 3-43 to 3-47 and 4-21, 4-22, 5-5)
- The list of CGMA Locations has been updated (page D-3)
- Additional pages are included as needed to fix page numbers, formatting issues and as Supporting Documents

Change 2 March 2011
The following changes have been made to the CGMA Manual.
- The new CGMA Education Loan Program has been added (pages 3-56, 3-57 and 3-63 to 3-65)
- The CGMA Vision Statement has been updated. (page 1-2)
- The CGMA Form 11 (Application for CGMA Education Loan) has been added and CGMA Form 46 (Credit Card Contributions) has been removed from the list of forms adopted for use by CGMA (pages 6-5 and C-1)
- The list of CGMA Locations has been updated (Appendix D)
- An Addendum to CGMA Form 22 (Financial and Housing Counseling Program) has been made updating CGMA's mailing address
- Additional pages are included as needed to fix page numbers, formatting issues and as Supporting Documents

Change 1 December 2010
The following changes have been made to the CGMA Manual.
- Technology/Online Access fees has been added to the list of items eligible for reimbursement under the SEG Program (page 3-60)
- Changes to the Stafford/PLUS loan fee reimbursement changes have been made. (pages 3-63 - 3-65)
- The amount authorized to prevent privation when dealing with other Military Aid Societies has been rased from $200 to $300 (page 4-24)
- The after hours phone number for Army Emergency Relief has been changed (page 4-27)

The CGMA-AAFMAA form has been added to the list of forms used by CGMA (pages 6-5 and C-1)
