Board of Directors members at 2022 Annual Meeting

CGMA is looking for Coast Guard people to serve on the Board of Directors. The board makes the policy and financial decisions that ensure the financial health of CGMA and its ongoing ability to accomplish its purposes.

Board members gain valuable experience and personal satisfaction in knowing that they are helping to improve the quality of life within the Coast Guard community, both in the near-term and for years to come.

The following Board positions are open:

  • Active Duty Commissioned Officer (O1-O4)
  • Active Duty Alternate for Enlisted (E4-E6)
  • Reservist
  • CG Civilian Employee
  • Work-Life Specialist

Though not a requirement for board membership, individuals with prior non-profit board experience or a background in finance, legal, marketing and communication, or IT are especially encouraged to apply. A board with diverse gender, race, and ethnic backgrounds represents the entire workforce.

If elected, terms start on 7/1/2024 and run for three years. The board meets quarterly at Coast Guard Headquarters with some members participating online.

Applications are due by 1/15/2024. Email election@mycgma.org for more information. Click for a printable flyer.
